Birth place of Sant Dnyaneshwar
There have been some comments about birthplace of Sant Dnyaneshwar mauli stating he was borne in Apegav in Maharashtra. There dispute on this in historians. My reference is to the 8 th edition of Sarth Dnyaneshwari edited by Late Haribhakta Parayan Shankar Waman Dandekar also known as Sonopant Dandekar published by Swanand Prakashan in 1986. In this edition on page 3 Sonopant Dandekar gives brief biodata in the forward. He clearly mentuions that Dnyaneshwar, his brothers Nivruttinath, Sopandeo and sister Muktabai were born in Alandi. He repeats this again on page 9 where hegives bieth dates, birthplace as Alandi and dates and towns of taking Samadhi. I am thankful to my readers for their comments.
